Hall of Fame ring ceremony held for Steve McMichael

Bears players, coaches and staff members were treated to a special in-person history lesson Wednesday evening when they toured the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In less than 24 hours, three former Bears players Devin Hester, Steve McMichael and Julius Peppers will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hester, Peppers and Misty McMichael — representing her husband in Canton — spoke to the media to discuss the enshrinement. The Bears honored Steve McMichael’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction at halftime of Week 1’s game against the Titans with statements from former teammates Tom Thayer and Mike Singletary. Similarly, Kansas State only falls to No. 18 after its loss to Houston because of its win against Colorado. And Clemson barely holds on at No. 25 after its home loss to Louisville.
